Sponsor One Horse
When you sponsor a horse at the rate of 1000 DH per month, you become their Partner, providing them with sufficient food. As a local, this gives you the right to come and connect with them on a regular basis - if you sponsor from abroad, you receive a follow-up with pictures and videos.
The horses up for sponsor here below have all had a traumatic past, and due to our dedicated rehab program, they are presently emotionally sound.
When you decide to sponsor one of these magnificent beings, you secure their retirement. And in return, what they offer you is way beyond what you would expect: a horse's heart's electromagnetic field is 5 times bigger than that of a human, so just in their presence, you will feel more present and relaxed as your heart rate will slow down, allowing for invisible healing.
Our "Sponsor One Horse" program is a quarterly or annual donation you make in honor of a specific horse.
PRINCE, The Noble Horse
Breed: Berber Arabian / Age (approx): 20 yo
Prince encompasses elegance, wisdom, resilience and nobility. In the past, he was used and abused, and was found starving in the same stable as other horses we rescued (Safran, Raven, Nuage, Cesar, Asmar…). As a consequence he was very aggressive and so wary of humans, you couldn’t touch him let alone groom or medicate. Thanks to our freedom based philosophy he had the space and time to recover as we asked nothing of him. Our only goal was and still is to restore his physical, mental and emotional capacity. Today he roams freely in "Terra d'âmes", going where he pleases and greeting visitors, which is an extraordinary feat in view of his past trauma.
MIEL, The Heart of a Champion
Breed: Moroccan / Age (approx): over 30 yo
Miel was a performance horse before landing into a home where his last owner only wanted him to be happy without the need to ask anything from him. After an intense career serving humans in jumping, having won National Jumping of Morocco, he deserved to have a life of tranquility. Unfortunately, for personal reasons, his last owner who loved him dearly, couldn't keep him. We could not imagine parting from Miel so we kept him with us. Miel is one of the most generous, kind and loving horse we have ever met. His worn-out body tells the story of the performance horse he was in his past. Today, he needs your help to be more comfortable for the remainder of his life: supplementing his food, providing body work, getting more love and attention. Will you be this person?
OLY, The Resilient Mare
Breed: Moroccan / Age (approx): 15 yo
Oly was once a jumping horse until she could no longer perform, and her weary system turned her body into a bag of bones. Despite this skeletal state, she continued giving her all, showing incredible strength and resilience. Our dear friend Isabelle who is an amazingly generous animal lover, decided to buy her and help us out to support Oly. Once with us, through a customized nutrition program and a lot of rest, Oly metamorphosed like a phoenix, rising up from near death to the amazingly solid mare she is today. Oly is one of a kind with her unwavering determination. A nurturing mother to Sol, her son, she is also one of our talented schoolmasters who can safely carry riders. Through her journey of transformation, Oly has inspired us all to believe in the magic of intentional healing.
LADYBIRD, The Sensitive Mare
Breed: Berber Arabian / Age (approx): 14 yo
Ladybird came into our care underweight and weak after being found in the streets of Marrakech. Her worn-out body, the marks of carriage straps around her chest, and he depressed state told the story of neglect and hard work, but in her eyes we saw hope for a second chance. No one ever came to claim her so we kept her. She was pregnant with a foal who passed away after 2 days of being born. This was a traumatic experience because she developed a sarcoid around her left eye (as seen in one of her pictures). She fell pregnant again, unexpectedly and luckily as the arrival of Mila helped her become more comfortable in her life with us, humans. Today, after years of nourishment and consistent softness, Ladybird has transformed into a more relaxed mare, yet still sensitive, who only responds to authenticity and kindness. Her journey is a testament to resilience and the power of respect and care.

ALASKA, The Unique One
Breed: Berber Arabian / Age (approx): 12 yo
When we met Alaska, she was a riding school horse for a horse center. She was mostly supporting beginners and she was doing it in the most generous way. It blew us away even more when we realised how much her body was aching. She was cribbing most of her time during the day. Cribbing is a compulsive behavior where a horse grabs a solid object like a stall door with its front teeth, arches its neck, and pulls back to suck air into its upper esophagus while making a grunting sound. This can lead to severe dental wear, weight loss, and an increased risk of digestive issues like colic and gastric ulcers. The contraction of the neck creates abnormal, bulging muscling along the lower neck and in Alaska's case, it prevents her from eating easily from the ground (as you can see in one of her pictures).
Although Alaska wasn't ours, we took care of her and even if she didn't stop this behavior, the look in her eyes had shifted and it warmed our hearts. When we moved out of the center and moved into our own land, we decided to take her with us. The idea of leaving her with the risk of riders using and abusing her body was unbearable. Today, she still needs help as we would love to rehabilitate her in the best way possible. Sponsoring her will give her a better life.
